August: Osage County

Winner of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and Tony Award for Best Play and adapted into a film starring Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts, August tells the story of a quirky family as well, but with a slightly darker twist! After a family tragedy, Violet Weston’s adult children and extended family come back to her home in Oklahoma to take care of her…but the profane, brilliant, and pill-popping Violet isn’t someone who enjoys being “taken care of.”

Note: August: Osage County contains some strong language and mature conversation.
