The Secret Garden runs May 11th – 19th!

STC is thrilled to close out its 84th season with its May production of The Secret Garden, the gorgeous musical adaptation of the beloved children’s novel. Heading up the cast is young Katherine Rauscher as Mary Lennox and Grant Cassady as Colin Craven. Starring in the adult leads are Kristin Sorenson as Lily, Duncan Doherty as Archibald, Ben Johnson as Neville, Rachel Brooks as Martha, and Jeremy Lee as Dickon. Filling out some of the supporting roles are Steve Toepel, Susan Johnson, David Quinn, Bernie Starzewski, Rachel Thuermer, Koral Rose Curkeet, Patrick Schamburek, Andrea Armstrong, and Berta Meyer. Making up the ensemble is Autumn Schultz, Mary Luke, Teresa Luke, Heather Winter, Kim Koeppen, Jacob Gruttner, Lauren Ensor, Brian Prestley, Timmy Wiverstad, Lee Trotta, and Brad Leonhardt. The children in the ensemble include Truman Warner, Erin Koeppen, Evangeline Joyce, Lucas Reschke, and Lucy Thoresen.

The Secret Garden is directed by Erin Smiley (STC’s Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and August: Osage County), with music direction by Drew Wojciehowski and choreography by STC Managing Director Tom Berger. Jackie Blindauer is the stage manager, assisted by Mitch Birkey, and the show features the design talents of Jim Johnson (sets), costume design by Bev Dulmes and Cheryl Feld, lighting design by Pat Smith, props design by Lisa Masbruch, and sound design by Amanda Ellis.

The show will play STC’s Leslie W. Johnson Theatre May 11th through the 19th, with a special immersive performance at Bookworm Gardens on Tuesday, May 15th as a fundraiser for both organizations. Get your tickets here or by calling 920.459.3779!
