Audition for STC & Studio Players!

MAINSTAGE

Come join us for our 82nd season opener, the immortal Broadway classic Gypsy! Gypsy tells the story of the ultimate stage mother, Mama Rose, and her mission to do anything to make her daughters stars of the vaudeville stage! With classic hits like “Let Me Entertain You,” “All I Need Now is the Girl,” and “Everything’s Coming Up Roses,” Gypsy is widely considered one of the greatest musicals ever written!
Auditions will be August 24th and 25th in the HMMS Choir Room starting at 6 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Guest director/choreographer Dennis Clark and music director Ray Rhoads are asking auditioners aged 8 and up to prepare 32 bars from a musical in the style of the show, and to be prepared to dance. 1.

a large formal assembly of people.

the action of calling people together for a large formal assembly.

We at the Sheboygan Theatre Company have long held the belief that the one aspect of STC that makes us powerful isn’t our beautiful space, our loyal patrons, our sponsorships, or our long-standing place in the Sheboygan community; all of these are important but what makes STC a truly special place is our PEOPLE!
As an almost completely volunteer-based organization, we count on our volunteers as the life’s blood of the company. Thanks to you, we’ve become known as one of the Midwest’s biggest and best community theatres, and it takes a village from every side; actors, musicians, technicians, builders, stitchers, painters, ushers, concessions; everyone does their part and helps to keep us together.

Now it’s time to pitch in as we continually try to improve ourselves so that everyone has the best experience possible when they work with us. Come to our 2nd Annual Convocation and help us crowd-source ideas to have a great 82nd Season! We’ll tell you a little about what we’re planning for the year, and we would love to hear from you on where we can improve. All are welcome!

Sunday, August 23rd in the North High School Auditorium, starting at 6 p.m.!

The Sheboygan Theatre Company’s mission is to produce quality community theatre involving diverse participants and audiences in a broad range of theatrical opportunities that entertain and educate. Join us for one of our upcoming shows, or get involved by finding a way to volunteer, be it on-stage, backstage, or one of many other ways. We’d love for you to join us!
