Short stacks for a tall cause!

You’re invited to an Applebee’s fundraiser to support STC!

Daisy Werthan, Female, 72-97, Southern Jewish widow, feisty and humorous

Hoke Coleburn, Male, African-American, 60-85; warm & patient but firm in his convictions

Boolie Werthan, Male, 40 – 65; Daisy’s son, a successful businessman

The director is also  interested in incorporating kind of a “living” run crew for the show, a small group of people in costume who will help facilitate scene shifts, but also serve as part of the town and help reflect the passage of time. These would be dialogue-free, but it’d be a fair amount of stage time while only requiring a couple rehearsals a week. Please come to auditions or let me know if you’re interested in this cool take on the show; perfect for newcomers to performing, or backstage folk who’d like to give it a try in a low-pressure situation!

Guest director Michael Stebbins would like auditioners to prepare one monologue, not to exceed two minutes.  It is preferable that the monologue be contemporary.  Please bring along a headshot [or representative photo] and a theatre resume, if possible. STC will take photos if you don’t have one available. We will also be providing sides to look over for cold readings or in the event that a callback is necessary. You can sign out a copy of the script at the STC administrative office at 607 S. Water St., Sheboygan, WI. Any other questions? Use the Contact Us feature here on our website!

Put your money where your ear is!

Check out our fundraising project for the renovation of our aging sound system here! We’re endeavoring to raise $5000 by May 31st in three separate campaigns, and STC will meet whatever we raise to double-down on your investment! We need to reach $1500 by February 21st and we’re off to a promising start; we truly appreciate all of the cash and check donations that have come pouring in but please consider using Kickstarter.com whenever possible. We can do this!
