Audition for STC & Studio Players!

Come join us for our 82nd season opener, the immortal Broadway classic Gypsy! Gypsy tells the story of the ultimate stage mother, Mama Rose, and her mission to do anything to make her daughters stars of the vaudeville stage! With classic hits like “Let Me Entertain You,” “All I Need Now is the Girl,” and “Everything’s Coming Up Roses,” Gypsy is widely considered one of the greatest musicals ever written!
Auditions will be August 24th and 26th in the HMMS Choir Room starting at 6 p.m. (this is a change from the initially reported dates) No appointment is necessary. Guest director/choreographer Dennis Clark and music director Ray Rhoads are asking auditioners aged 8 and up to prepare 32 bars from a musical in the style of the show, and to be prepared to dance. Auditioners interested in Baby June, Dainty June, or Tulsa should bring tap shoes if possible.

The kickoff party for Gypsy will be Friday, August 28th at Horace Mann, starting at 6 p.m. Even if you’re not auditioning, swing by, have a nosh, and learn more about how you can be involved in our next production!

Auditions for Studio Players’ Halloween weekend production of The Rocky Horror Show will be Saturday, Sept. 12th & Sunday, Sept. 13th, from 1-5 p.m. Director Tom Berger asks that auditioners prepare 32 bars from a rock musical and be prepared to dance.

Please note that Rocky Horror contains mature language and themes – You must be 18 to audition!

Come sing with STC & SPA!
